Giving an excuse of being too old or young depicts that you lack courage and confidence.

Living a life of excuses will not only prevent you from reaching your goals but can hold you back from recognizing opportunities, strengths and skills. It can also make you limit yourself to a point and this can make opportunities pass you by.

The act of making excuses about your life and circumstances will make your life an illusion of reality.  Later in life, you wouldn’t be able to take responsibility for whatever happens to you. You keep giving excuses and your life keeps getting worse such that you live in fear and pain. Such people can never deliver. When you give excuse that you don’t have enough money, then you lack the persistence to work towards financial security as well as the plan to achieve financial success.

Giving an excuse of being too old or young depicts that you lack courage and confidence. You are never too young or old to achieve your goals.  You need to inculcate self belief and discipline. When you make the excuse of not having enough time then you lack discipline and focus. We feel that we have so much to do and we never feel that we have enough time to do it. Pay attention to everything you want to do today and tomorrow. Then, you will realize that there are some junks you need to let go of. Choose your task carefully. According to Brain Tracy, "there is never enough time to do everything but there is enough time to do the most important things."

Making an excuse of lack of education indicates that you lack creativity. With the desire in you, you can achieve your dreams. Do not work with excuses otherwise you will never accomplish anything. Your achievements lie in your will power to take responsibility.
It requires a conscious effort to stop making excuses because it is like breaking a habit. You need to be conscious that your problems are yours and don’t blame them on anybody. Take responsibility. You have the power to control your own destiny.

Mediocrity is the opposite of innovation. It is an attitude which influences what you do and how you do it. Mediocre people are ordinary, average, prosaic, amateur, and uninspiring. They walk in darkness and are ready to bring others into their obscurity. They know nothing yet they pride themselves in their unremarkable ignorance.
The place for excellence is found outside mediocrity zone. Otherwise, a mediocre fellow will beat you to stay and relax for the danger of the unknown. In the journey of life, you have a choice to make to get better. So, you must say NO to mediocrity. Don’t be contented with OK and don’t be OK with the way it is.
Mediocre people find it difficult to pursue their dreams because from their point of view things are always pretty hard and they don't believe in the principle of possibility. A mediocre life is a wasted life and it causes you to be at the mercy of failure. Mediocre people want everything to happen with ease without making any sacrifice or risk. In this sense, they accept the result of their inglorious success.

Be okay with inspiring, amazing and most especially excellence. The thin line between mediocrity and excellence is willingness. Therefore, you have the will power to move out of your comfort zone, bad habits and all that limit you. If you really want a marked effect, you should never live your life in mediocrity. Nothing propels you for success than the knowledge and an assurance of your functional self. 

Are you someone that carries out research for a long essay and expect to find answers from the data supplied by others? The data supplied by others is dependent on the level they have attained. Man can only define you as far as he has been defined.

Many are really confused in between what they do and who they are. The truth is that your capacity may be beyond what you do even though there is a strong connection between what you do and your functional self. What you do is much more smaller than your functional self.

So, nothing propels you for success than a knowledge and assurance of your functional self. This assurance is not an exercise that you take a journey into the dictionary for irrespective of whether you are educated or not. It is not plausible to hear one say that he does not know his functional self.

You need courage and sincerity to accept the degree of your imperfection. You are the sole determinant of your progress in life. In this sense, you are in the right position to determine what suits you simply because your present position cannot determine things that are yet to come.

The fact that you are a product of an environment does not mean you have to be defined by that environment or be restricted to the environment. You need constant personal evaluation to enhance your capacity when properly channelled. Self-underutilization is as a result of inadequate knowledge of oneself.

It is pertinent to define positivity as an aspect of yourself so as to be functional and operational in life for success. Always remember that

The definition of your functional self should inspire other’s operational self. Don’t just live your life the way it comes, define what you want to achieve in life.

Setting a standard involves an independent and comprehensive self involvement.

Goals are the master skills to achieve success. All the great and successful people are intensely goal oriented. They set goals that will make a difference. You cannot achieve beyond what you have programmed for yourself. Goals have certain requirements which are depicted in the personal standards you uphold.

These requirements are met in form of the standards you create for yourself everyday. Once you have a clearly defined personal standard for yourself, working towards the standard for your goal becomes much more easier. By setting standards, you set a clear precedent you must live by and follow.

The world expects a standard level of quality for everything. Set standard for creativity, academics, love and wisdom. This standard involves an independent and comprehensive self involvement. When you set this standard, you wouldn't want to settle for less. It is a kind of persistency that fuels the furnace of what you want to become.
 
 Presently, Societies are decaying and people are getting frustrated. One of the reasons for this is that people have stopped setting high standards for themselves. Setting a high standard for yourself cut across the level of integrity with interaction with which you live your personal life, how you conduct your profession and interaction with people. To achieve this, you have to be committed to your dream. Have you ever wondered what separates the highest achievers from everyone else? They have set standards which is the pillar of expectations that they have for themselves. If you don't set standards, you are lacking self esteem thereby, prone to influence.
   
  However, you must have a personal standard working mechanism. This is depicted in your relationship with people, your dress code as well as efficiency at work or school. These features are on show for people with or without your consciousness because you are sending signals to people about who you are. Life has given you the chance to be surpassing. Take your goal to the next level in allusion to reality. Strive for the best and recurring betterment.

 Your complex mental state involving beliefs, feeling and values to act in a certain way comes before the results of the standards you have set for yourself. The standard you set for a goal is a representation of yourself otherwise the society will set it for you.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

You will never know the base of something to the top for success that you are capable of if you admit defeat.

The mind capacity is immense and its flexibility is unparalleled as its capacity to make billions of statistical analysis constantly surprises millions of people about its great potentials. 

The human brain consists of cells which are responsible for thinking. What you are thinking about transfers from the brain to the mind. Thus, our thoughts is the product of our thinking.

 It is a clear line of unbroken chains of facts that our thoughts precedes attitudes and character which dictates one's personality. The greatest challenge of man is an effect of the mind such that no matter how appealing the journey is, if a man's mind sees obstacles on the way, the journey becomes difficult.

Man's mind is the pillar of intellectual effectiveness and the centre of one's being. If your mind overcomes the world that settles it and can think beyond the present circumstances, it becomes easy to kick the box and live outside it.

The contention of this short prologue is to establish the consciousness of the power of the mind towards approaching FAILURE.
The excitement gained in life is the experience acquired during the process of challenges.

There's no such person as failure. One's notion of the word 'failure' in the world today affects one's reaction to it which in turn determines one's action when found in such a situation. Over the years, I have discovered that any successful human being has been knocked down several times in the quest to achieve a dream which is the picture of what you want to do, who you want to become and your destination.

Friends, an adage states that experience is the best teacher. A major entanglement in life that makes people conclude that nothing good can come out of them is because they had failed. It is not a taboo to fail; you fail so as to rise. Put it in mind that you gain from your pain. You are not a failure. Failure is not final, It is just a stepping stone which must be made manifest in courage with which you have so as to maintain the struggle over overwhelming odds.

No one can ever know you failed except you remain in the failure of the past. Your personality is not a failure . FAILURE is only an occurrence which cannot define your future. You are a person, failure is an event that is, something went wrong in the process of achieving a goal.

The best approach to this is to critically examine what went wrong, bounce back again and prepare to achieve your dreams.
Collins Powell said,'There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failure '.

Don't lose hope until you get your dreams accomplished. You are a god over the past and all the events you used to be subjected to.

The process of looking beyond the event (failure) is to program your mind to visualize your forthcoming achievements. This present generation has the power to alter their lives through the cultures of their mind. You are a by-product of your thinking pattern.

You cannot achieve a goal if you feed your mind with junks. The mystery to unlock your mind power is really no secret at all. Acknowledge the wonder of your incredible mind and trust that you will be ignited to look beyond your circumstances.

Do not look at the present to determine what is yet to come. It is crystal clear that the event of failure cannot determine who you are. Those who are successful today have a pressing forward mentality.

   Robert Allen made it explicit that 'There is no failure, only feedback '

Therefore, that event is a feedback indicating that you have to come up with a better strategy to realise your goal. That event is not significant enough to stop you. I understand that you have tried to make it work times without number, I know you are afraid to try it again and I know that the fear of failure limits you. Right? But really, failure is not your personality.

You keep getting better and better. Dig deep into the potential of your mind and see the future through the power of your mind. Meditate often on your dreams. It should never be out of your sight and mind. You could turn them into songs... Smiles.

The above quotation alludes to the power of the mind to program either success or failure. The power of the mind is the capacity of the mind to stretch, raised to the power of infinity because once you can stretch your mind, then there is nothing stopping your ability to constantly create your goal into reality.

An open mind is needed to boost creative thinking which can trigger potential solutions. Neuroscientists have proven that your brain cannot find solutions if you focus on the problem.

The focus on the failure of the past activates negative emotions in the brain. There is boundless possibilities through the power of thinking. Your mind is the full  grasp of the capacity to achieve success.

 Everything happens in your mind; what you are today and will ever be is a function of your mind. Friends, for you to achieve your full potentials, you must be ready to stretch and move away from the grinding factors that held you back.
